HaChnasas Sifrei Torah Ceremony of two restored Torah scrolls from the Former Soviet Union

Sunday, October 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. The celebration will begin at the foot of the Menorah on Brighton Beach Avenue near Washington Mutual Bank building (Brighton Beach Ave. corner Coney Island Ave.) and will then continue in the Hebrew Alliance-F.R.E.E. Synagogue at 2915 Brighton 6th Street (corner Neptune Ave.).

The two restored Torah scrolls have been generously dedicated by the Schuster and Dovidov Families as a gift in loving memory of their parents: Michael ben Yonah o.b.m. and Frymeta bas Leib o.b.m. Schuster – who were saved by the Almighty, with great mercy, from the hands of the Nazis – and in loving memory of Avroom ben David o.b.m. Dovidov
